"Wednesday the Sky"
"It's drizzling and, ah, out in this, ah, you know, lush field
in the distance there's this dove sitting, ah, sitting there.
And each time I told the crowd of people to look at the dove,
it would dive down. And this happened three times, I'd look at the
dove, it's there... it would dive down. And then, ah, they were like,
oh, you know... So as we were walking away I turned back..."
I was five miles up in the atmosphere
I was half asleep when I landed here
Kept my eyes half-closed when the tide came in
Heard the rushing waves and I slept again
Sunday I'll get back into the sky
But I can wait much longer if I try
So I tell myself in a daydream trance

Then a girl showed up (she was heaven sent)
So I sent her back (wasn't what I meant)
